Scope of Work

  1. L-Section and Cross-Section Drawings

    • Preparation of L-sections and cross-sections based on survey data.

    • These drawings help in understanding the road profile and designing the alignment effectively.

  1. Pavement Investigation & CBR Testing

    • Collection of existing road crust details.

    • Conducting 3 CBR tests to assess subgrade strength and design suitable pavement layers.

  2. Road Design

    • Horizontal and vertical curve design for smooth traffic movement.

    • Pavement design considering soil strength, expected traffic load, and safety standards.

    • Road length covered: Approx. 800 m.

  1. Hydraulic Design for Storm Water Drainage

    • Hydraulic analysis and design for storm water drains to ensure proper flow and avoid flooding.

    • Drainage design length: Approx. 2000 m.

    • Preparation of design drawings for:

      • Stormwater drain

      • Footpath

      • Street lighting

  2. Level Calculations

    • Road levels calculation for proper gradient and drainage.

    • New building plinth level calculations to safeguard against waterlogging and ensure accessibility.

  3. Cutting & Filling Quantities

    • Earthwork analysis to calculate excavation (cutting) and filling requirements.

    • Helps in cost estimation and planning of construction activities.

  4. Road Access to New Buildings and Sheds

    • Designing smooth entry and exit points for buildings and sheds connected to the road.

  5. Structural Design of Retaining Wall

    • Structural analysis and design of retaining walls where required.

    • Preparation of detailed structural drawings to ensure stability and safety.

  6. Estimates and BOQ Preparation

    • Preparation of detailed cost estimates.

    • Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all road and allied infrastructure works.

  7. Detailed Project Report (DPR)

    • Compilation of all designs, calculations, drawings, and estimates into a comprehensive DPR.

    • The DPR will serve as the key reference document for project execution and approvals.
