Geotechnical Laboratory in Pune

As per the details given on the Geo-technical/ Soil Investigation Page, Suncon Engineers is capable in executing drilling and sampling of cores required to measure and analyse soil properties. Here, with the help of this page, we will explain you about the laboratory services conducted by us on the core and soil samples.

We have our full-fledged Geo-technical Laboratory, that can help in determining the wide varieties of soil properties. As mentioned earlier, some soil properties are intrinsic to the composition of the soil matrix and are not affected by sample disturbance, while other properties depend on the structure of the soil as well as its composition, and can only be effectively tested on relatively undisturbed samples. A well planned and properly executed laboratory testing program will provide soil and/or rock properties needed to perform geotechnical analyses and develop geotechnical models. Soil and rock samples needed for the tests have to be carefully obtained in the field and properly stored to get accurate results.
